A Memorable Prefects’ Inauguration at Rose of Sharon High School

Rose of Sharon High School witnessed a remarkable and inspiring moment on Friday, 13 March 2026, as the institution held its Prefects’ Inauguration Ceremony, ushering in a new generation of student leaders committed to excellence, discipline, and service.

The prestigious occasion was graced by Mr Nick Mangwana, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services. His presence elevated the event and reflected the growing recognition of Rose of Sharon as a center of excellence in education and leadership development.

In his powerful address, Mr. Mangwana challenged the newly appointed prefects to lead with integrity, responsibility, and purpose, reminding them that leadership begins with character, discipline, and the courage to inspire others. His motivational words resonated deeply with the students and parents present, leaving a lasting impression on the young leaders stepping into their new roles.
