Our Sustainability Journey at Umfurudzi Park 🌿

Over the weekend, our young explorers, had an incredible learning adventure to Umfurudzi Park! From discovering the natural potholes along the Umfurudzi River — beautiful rock formations carved by centuries of swirling water — to joining an exciting game drive and learning about the Ugly Five (warthog, hyena, vulture, wildebeest, and marabou stork) 🐗🦅🦓, every moment was a step closer to understanding how nature works in harmony. 🌊🌍

The trip also included an inspiring lesson on wildlife conservation, showing how every species — no matter how big, small, or “ugly” — plays a vital role in the balance of ecosystems. 🌱

This adventure is part of our Sustainability and Project-Based Learning Programme, where learners connect classroom knowledge to real-world experiences, exploring how to protect our planet and its precious biodiversity. 💚

We extend heartfelt thanks to Umfurudzi Park and our wonderful guides — Mr Jeff, Miss Kundi, Mr Enoch, and Mr Daniel — for making this trip both educational and unforgettable. 🙏🏽

Every footprint left behind was a lesson learned — and every sight, a story of our shared responsibility to care for the Earth. 🌎✨
