It was a typical school day in Harare—our last class ended just after noon, and we were buzzing with excitement. My friends and I had planned this outing for weeks. The moment the school bell rang, we grabbed our backpacks, hopped onto a kombi, and the ride to the CBD began.
We passed familiar streets—from the dusty lanes near school to the bustling Mbare market. And finally, after a short ride, we stepped out right at Samora Machel Avenue, the road leading us straight to Food Lovers Market. The aroma of fresh produce, spices, and baked treats greeted us as we walked in, and we knew we were in for a delicious adventure. Stay tuned—there’s so much more to explore!
