Throwback to Westridge High School's visit to the Parirenyatwa Chinese Traditional Medicine Centre. 🇨🇳🇿🇼

西桥高中参观帕里伦亚托瓦中医中心🇿 🇨🇳

41 enthusiastic Form 2 Westridge students visited the Parirenyatwa Chinese Traditional Medicine Centre as part of the school’s Form 2 streaming and subject choice exploration programme. The visit, made possible through the invaluable support of the Confucius Institute at the University of Zimbabwe (CIUZ), aimed to expose students to careers in health, biology, and medical sciences through the lens of traditional Chinese medicine.

桥高中带领41名充满热情的二年级学生前往帕里伦亚托瓦中医中心参观学习，此次活动是学校二年级分流与科目选择探索计划的一部分。本次参观得到了津巴布韦大学孔子学院（CIUZ）的大力支持，旨在让学生通过了解中医来认识健康、生物与医学科学等相关职业方向。

Students were introduced to practices such as acupuncture, cupping therapy, and first aid techniques, including CPR and bandaging. The interactive session deepened their understanding of science, wellness, and global health perspectives while allowing them to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world context.

学生们在参观中学习了针灸、拔罐等传统疗法，还参加了包括心肺复苏（CPR）和包扎在内的急救培训。这种互动式的学习让他们在真实情境中加深了对科学、健康与全球医疗观念的理解，并将课堂知识应用到实践中。

Form 2 student Unaisa shared her excitement, saying, “I’ve always wanted to be a doctor, and seeing how Chinese medicine works made me realise how much science connects with language and culture.”

二年级学生Unaisa激动地表示：“我一直想当医生，看到中医的运作方式让我意识到，科学与语言和文化之间有着紧密的联系。”
