*Attention Midlands State University Students!!!*
The Student Representative Council is going through a Constitutional Amendment process in terms of Section 30 a (i), (ii) & (iii) of the SRC Constitution. The motivation behind the Constitutional amendment is to ensure representation from our multi campuses in the highest student decision making board. We have moved the motion that every campus must have a Vice President who is elected from their respective campus. Should the amendment succeed, the amended constitution shall serve at least three terms ( 6 consecutive semesters) before another amendment is made according to Section 30 (v) of the current MSU SRC Constitution. Any updates pertaining this matter shall be posted on this platform.
Kind Regards
*SRC Minister of Information and Publicity*

To our fellow students
From the Students Representative Council
We noted with concern the life threatening stampedes and pressure we are subjected to as we fight for space on the bus every now and then to and from lectures. As such, the SRC in liaison with the university principals has resolved that whilst it is impossible to increase the university's fleet in the very short run the university will hire busses to ease the pressure on students as they commute to and from lectures. With effect soon after Easter Holidays
Still on the same transport issue, following the challenges faced by our sportsmen during their trip to harare for the first zusa cluster. The SRC in consultation with university principals has resolved that only MSU branded busses will ferry students to these games as it is difficult to ascertain the road worthiness of hired transport. With effect from the next ZUSA cluster.
