The Grade 5 class is having an unforgettable time on their annual trip to Wild Geo and Trails in Nyanga. So far, their adventure has been filled with exciting and educational experiences, with plenty more still to come as they continue their camp.

They have already visited the Hydro Electric Plant, a stone fruit plantation, the Rhodes Museum, and enjoyed the breathtaking hike to World’s View. Their journey has also taken them to a trout farm and the lush banana plantations in Honde Valley, offering hands-on insight into Zimbabwe’s natural beauty and industries.

It has truly been a trip full of discovery, learning, and fun and the adventure is not over yet!

Our ELC Zebra and Giraffe classes recently enjoyed an exciting educational trip to Pamuzinda Safari Lodge. The children went on a thrilling game drive where they had the opportunity to see a variety of wild animals in their natural habitat. Highlights of the trip included watching lions during feeding time, as well as spotting majestic elephants, sable, eland, impala, and other antelope. The outing was both fun and educational, giving the children a memorable hands-on learning experience about wildlife and nature.🦁🐘

Fathers and Sons Strengthening Bonds at Bryden

This past weekend, Bryden Country School was privileged to host our Father–Son Camp, bringing together fathers and their sons for a meaningful time of fellowship, learning, fun, and relationship building.

Through engaging talks, team-building activities, sporting sessions, and the ever-popular Father–Son Challenge, the weekend provided an opportunity for fathers to invest intentionally in their sons while creating memories that will last a lifetime.
There was plenty of laughter throughout the weekend and if the amount of food consumed is anything to go by, we may need to review next year's catering budget! Between the growing boys and their equally enthusiastic fathers, the kitchen certainly earned its rest by Saturday afternoon.

We are grateful to all the fathers, guest speakers, and staff who contributed to making the camp such a success. Your presence, wisdom, and support helped create a truly special experience for our boys.

At Bryden, we believe that education is a partnership between school and home. Strong fathers help raise strong young men, and weekends like these remind us of the importance of being present, engaged, and intentional.

"Train up a child in the way he should go..." – Proverbs 22:6
