To start the Lenten season, Father Aurellio celebrated Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas and reminded us to focus on three essential practices: fasting, praying, and giving. As we enter this time of reflection and renewal, we carry with us the sobering reminder of our own journey:
"From dust you came, and to dust you shall return"

First Friday Mass:
Doing what is right isn't always easy, but it is always worth it.
At today’s First Friday Mass, Father Aurelio spoke about the strength it takes to stand up for your beliefs, regardless of what others might think. A wonderful lesson for our pupils on justice, faith, and being true to oneself.

Celebrating St Thomas Aquinas Day!
What a special day we had today! We honoured our Patron Saint, St Thomas Aquinas, with a wonderful celebration.
The grade 7 pupils kicked things off with a brilliant presentation on the man behind our school’s name, Thomas of Aquino. They shared some interesting facts:
A Curious Soul: Even as a tiny boy, Thomas was always asking, "What is God?" He never stopped searching for the truth.
The Famous Table: We all know he loved his food! He had such a "jolly" stomach(big) that tradition says a semi-circle had to be cut out of the wooden table just so he could sit down to eat or write his masterpieces.
The Quiet Giant: Did you know his classmates called him the "Dumb Ox" because he was so quiet. His teacher famously replied, "The bellowing of this ox will resound throughout the whole world!" — and he was right!
We then had Mass, where Father Aurelio shared a moving homily. He reminded the pupils that St Thomas of Aquino was not just a genius; he was a man who lived to teach and share light with others. He also encouraged our pupils to carry that same spirit of curiosity and kindness into their own lives.
To wrap up the celebrations, the pupils enjoyed some special treats—a fitting tribute to a Saint who truly appreciated a good meal!

Happy Feast Day to our entire STA family
