Participating in Inter-Schools Public Speaking Competitions builds confidence, teaches children to organise their thoughts and helps them find their voice.

When they stand up and speak clearly, they become better listeners, stronger leaders and braver in class and in life.

We are proud to report that one of our pupils came SECOND out of 24 participants with his prepared "Three Wishes" speech and that we came THIRD out of eight schools which participated at Petra in Friday night.

Our Grade Sevens attended a Science Expo at Petra where they got hands-on experience and were exposed to various Science and Technology concepts which showed them how what they learn in class can be applied in real life.

They also had the opportunity to look at other children's projects which further sparked their curiosity.

Fairy tales do far more than entertain - they are powerful tools for child development.

Listening to fairy tales builds cognitive flexibility, emotional intelligence, morality and imagination. They also let children face scary ideas like monsters or danger.

Children see consequences play out and learn about handling failure, betrayal and triumph and build problem-solving skills.

Stories separate good from evil and model values like kindness and bravery.

What fun they had dressing up and listening to stories on Friday!

Our young artists spent the week creating heartfelt Father’s Day crafts for their dads and father figures.

From handprint cards to decorated ties, each piece was made with little hands and lots of love.

The classrooms were full of paint, glitter and giggles as they shared stories about why their dads are special to them.

We are sure families smiled when they received these keepsakes.

Our Interhouse Cross Country Event was a morning full of energy and house pride.

As runners from George and James took to the course, the air buzzed with war cries from the children and cheers from the parents lining the route.

Each child pushed through not just racing for points but for the spirit of their house.

It wasn’t only about who came in first — it was about determination and every child finishing with a smile.

George house won but the event brought everyone together, reminding us of how special the school is.
