The institution kick-started in 1999 as a private college offering Tourism and Secretarial courses and now offers up market tuition at Junior School, High School and Professional Levels. The establishment currently has an enrolment of over 500 pupils and boasts a proud history of being among the first private colleges to offer formal education in Bulawayo. The Professional Classes are at rented pr
emises in the central business district of Bulawayo meanwhile the Junior School is at its own premises at Romney Park suburb and the high school is at its own premises too in Paddonhurst suburb. The project under focus is anticipated to give the establishment a superb outlook that is set to take its status and fortunes to the next level. It is anticipated that with the construction of the hostels, dinning hall, and sporting facilities, the school new premises will draw in at least 300 more students and multiples of that from the year 2014 as it gains more publicity. The philosophy at the company places a huge emphasis on a personalised silver service and engagement of highly competent staff to stay ahead of the pack. Top management’s years of business experience coupled with diverse entrepreneurial competences explain the success and potential of EATC College as a force to reckon with at national level. These include the following:
1. An understanding of developmental economics,
2. An appreciation and manipulation of the political, social, security and economic dimensions in Zimbabwe,
3. Training in corporate governance, macro-business vertical growth,
4. Application of Several International Standards (ISOs) and the philosophy of business ownership
Backed by a sound business model, management is mulling franchising the institute in neighbouring cities and countries in the long run. Management at the College understands and is compliant with all Government business policies.
