Our ADC August Workshop brought the team together for a day filled with engaging team-building activities, fun games and plenty of laughter. From testing our communication skills to stepping into each other’s shoes, every activity reminded us that great teams are built on collaboration, trust and understanding.

🏆 SECRETARY’S MERIT AWARDS | CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE

Yesterday, Advanced Design Colleges (ADC) had the privilege of joining the Secretary’s Merit Awards held at Somvubu High School, celebrating the achievements and dedication of schools, learners and educators.

The awards recognised Somvubu High School and AMR Sister Primary School for their outstanding achievements, marking a proud moment for both schools and their communities. 👏🏽🎓

It was a wonderful opportunity to come together with education leaders, schools and partners in celebrating excellence and creating meaningful connections within the education community.

We are grateful to have been part of this special occasion and to have had the opportunity to share more about ADC and our work in CAD education, digital design and STEM development.

🏆 REGION 1 CAD COMPETITIONS | MULTIPURPOSE DESIGN

On 28 July 2026, St. Ignatius High School came alive with creativity, innovation and technical skill as talented learners battled it out in the Region 1 CAD Competitions under the theme “Multipurpose Design.” 💻📐

The challenge pushed students to think beyond conventional solutions — designing concepts that are not only creative, but functional, adaptable and capable of serving multiple purposes.

From focused design sessions to moments of excitement and celebration, Region 1 showcased the incredible talent and potential of our young designers. 🚀

A week ago, on 21 July, Advanced Design Colleges (ADC) proudly partnered with the Girls in STEM initiative to host an inspiring day dedicated to empowering young women through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

The event brought together enthusiastic students from Nkulumane High School and Townsend High School, who participated in engaging STEM activities, interactive learning experiences, and meaningful discussions that encouraged them to explore the endless possibilities within STEM careers.
