Today just like all the other Wednesdays around this time of the year in all the years that have passed, the Catholic church commemorates the first day of Lent, Ash Wednesday. I remember looking forward to having the cross drawn on my forehead every year in the eleven years I was at St Bernard's (hahahaha no I did not repeat that much, I was there for both my primary and secondary education). I remember mostly the songs around this time, so touching and so sad. I sure hope all the students currently at the school are enjoying as much as I did but not forgetting what lent is all about, I hope it means something to you.
