This week Thursday, we will be taking a short walk down the road with the children to visit a nearby old people’s home. The purpose of this visit is to spend quality time with the elderly, share smiles, and spread a little joy.
In preparation for this special outing, the children made handmade flowers today and helped pack biscuits to gift to the residents. During our visit, the children will also present four nursery rhymes as a form of entertainment and connection.
This experience is very important for our little ones as it teaches them kindness, empathy, respect, and compassion. It helps them understand the value of giving, sharing, and appreciating older members of our community. Through activities like this, children learn that small acts of love can make a big difference, while also building confidence, social skills, and a sense of responsibility.
We are so proud of our children for embracing this meaningful lesson and look forward to sharing this beautiful moment with you through pictures.
