Vision:
We envision an autonomous mental health psychiatric nurse practice, which ensures quality mental health and psychiatric nursing care to all clients in all settings, which is guided by research based protocols.

Happy World AIDS Day...
A very good afternoon to you all... we are glad to remind you that the State Final Results will be out on the 16th of December. The department hopes that each one of you (those who made it to the finals) makes it again.
On that same day, the 16th of December, the Department will host the long awaited~ get together, end of year Xmas bash!! Let's all come in our numbers and celebrate.
Those who applied for Post Basic 2017 please note that the interviews are starting from 02 November to 22 November. Please check with the department if you have not received your letter for the interviews. Great Day!!
The Revision Block for all the State Finalists (RMN A2014 AND PBS B2015) is scheduled to begin on the 7th of November up to the 20th of November 2016. You are all encouraged to continue studying hard for your exams. You are also reminded that the library is there for your use, compliment electronic resources with print material!!

Diploma in Mental Health Nursing ***2017 Intake****
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the diploma in Mental Health Nursing 2017 intake.
Entry Requirements:
Applicants must have 5 'O' Level passes at most, TWO sittings only, with Grade C or better including English Language, and a Science subject (Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, General/ Integrated Science, Extended Science or Core Science).
Three other subjects from any of the following: History, Geography, Ndebele/ Shona, Agriculture, Commerce, Accounts, Food and Nutrition, Religious Education and English Literature. (Practical Subjects are not considered e.g Fashion and Fabrics, Woodwork).
Applications must be accompanied by certified copies of ORIGINAL 'O' Level certificates, National ID, Long Birth Certificate and self addressed stamped envelopes. Applicants should include contact telephone numbers..

Applications are invited from Qualified Registered General Nurses for the Diploma in Psychiatry, January 2017 intake.
Applicants must have a Diploma in General Nursing and at least 2 years Post Basic Training Experience.
