We recently spent time at Christian Brothers College, introducing learners to the world of FIRST LEGO League.
It’s always exciting to see the moment when curiosity turns into creativity, when students begin exploring robotics, teamwork, and problem-solving through hands-on STEM learning.
We’re especially proud of this growing community of learners who are stepping forward to build, code, and innovate together.
This is how strong robotics programmes begin with curiosity, collaboration, and the willingness to learn.
Looking forward to seeing how this group grows as they continue their journey with FIRST LEGO League. 🤖

Too often, conversations about improving education focus only on individual programmes or activities.
But strong schools are not built through isolated initiatives.
They are built through systems that work consistently — systems that support teachers, empower learners, and give school leaders the tools they need to make informed decisions.
That means more than introducing robotics clubs or STEM programmes.
It means building an ecosystem where curriculum, teacher support, technology, data, and learning opportunities work together.
When those systems are in place, something powerful happens.
Innovation becomes normal.
Opportunities expand.
And learners gain the confidence and skills to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
This is the lens through which we approach our work with schools.
Because lasting impact in education doesn’t come from one-off projects.
It comes from systems that make excellence sustainable.

Throwback to Cape Town 🇿🇦 last December, an unforgettable journey with the Sciency Team supporting Riverdale Academy at the FIRST LEGO League competitions.
Beyond cheering our team on, this experience gave us the opportunity to see how learners from different schools and countries approached robotics, innovation, and teamwork. 🤖💡
It was inspiring to witness the creativity, preparation, and confidence on display — and just as importantly, to reflect on what’s possible and what we can continue to improve back home.
These moments matter.
They shape how we support schools, how we train learners, and how we raise the bar for STEM education in our context.
Grateful for the learning, the exposure, and the growth. This is how progress happens. 🌍

WE’RE BACK.
Welcome to 2026, A year focused on scaling impact, strengthening our programmes, and reaching more schools and learners than ever before.
This year, Sciency is doubling down on what works:
Hands-on STEM education through robotics, coding, and clean-tech, delivered in ways that are practical, accessible, and built for African classrooms.
Our focus in 2026 is clear:
Expand our reach to more schools
Deepen learning outcomes for learners
Strengthen teacher support and delivery
Build future-ready skills that prepare learners to participate confidently in a global economy
The mission and scope are getting bigger.
The vision is getting bolder
And the work ahead matters more than ever.
Here’s to building a stronger 2026, together.

🚀🇿🇦 Cape Town, here we come!
Our Riverdale Academy robotics team has officially touched down at OR Tambo International Airport — next stop: FIRST LEGO League Africa Regional Championships in Cape Town!
The excitement is real.
The nerves are real.
But most importantly — the dream is real.
These learners have spent months building, coding, redesigning, failing forward, and pushing themselves beyond what they ever imagined possible. Now they get to showcase their talent on one of Africa’s biggest STEM stages.
As Sciency, we couldn’t be prouder to stand behind them as their STEM partner. Watching students go from their first robot to international competition floors is the reason we do what we do.
To Riverdale Academy:
Go and represent Zimbabwe with confidence.
Go and show Africa what young innovators from Nkulumane can do.
The whole nation is rooting for you. 🇿🇼

Nothing inspires us more than seeing young innovators step forward with confidence. It was an honour to host this year’s LEGO Robotics Regional Tournament and watch teams like Riverdale Academy rise to the challenge. The future is bright.

At Sciency, we believe every learner deserves the chance to create, compete, and lead. Hosting this year’s LEGO Robotics Regional Tournament reminded us why we do this work. Brilliant young minds, like those from Whitestone, showing what’s possible.
