Our Easter fun is in full swing 🐰🎨
The Precious Stones (ECD B) enjoyed creating their very own bunny artwork! First, they painted beautiful, colourful backgrounds, exploring different textures and brush strokes. They then carefully drew an outline of a bunny and painted it in, bringing their creations to life by layering this on their backgrounds. 🖼️
Beyond being lots of fun, this type of layered art activity has so many benefits:

✨ Builds confidence through independent choices
✨ Introduces planning and sequencing (background first, then detail)

Little friendships are one of the sweetest gifts to witness in our classroom. 💛
Every day we see tiny hands reaching for each other, little voices calling their friends’ names, and warm hugs shared so freely. These early friendships are so special as the children learn kindness, compassion, and the joy of being together.
It reminds us of the beautiful truth in Bible:
“A friend loves at all times.” – Proverbs 17:17
Watching these friendships grow is such a blessing. Through play, laughter, and those precious spontaneous hugs, the children are learning what it means to care for one another - just as God teaches us to love and support our friends. ✨
Our littlest learners- the Nuggets love exploring our steering wheels, pushing and turning them as they moved around. 🛞
Activities like this are wonderful for developing gross motor skills, coordination and spatial awareness, while also encouraging imaginative play as the children pretend to drive and explore.🤗
Our Thursday was beautifully coloured orange as we showed our support for KidZCan 🧡
Supporting such a meaningful cause helps us teach our little friends about kindness, empathy, and the power of helping others. It’s never too early to learn how small acts of love can make a big difference. 🤗

Our wooden rainbows have been busy inspiring a whole rainbow of possibilities in the classroom 🌈
From bridges and tunnels to houses, mountains and hidden worlds, the friends have shown us just how powerful open-ended play can be. With no single “right” way to use it, our rainbow encourages creativity, problem-solving, teamwork and imagination, all while having so much fun!

Climbing higher, trusting deeper! 🧗♀️✨
Our playground climbing frame is more than a fun adventure. It is a training ground for courage, confidence and growing strong bodies. As little hands grip the bars and brave hearts take a careful step up, children learn to trust their abilities, assess risks and celebrate the joy of “I did it!”
Every climb strengthens core muscles, balance and coordination. Every stretch teaches problem-solving and perseverance. Every supportive cheer from a friend reminds them of the beautiful community God has placed around them.
We believe in helping children reach new heights while knowing they are safe, supported and wonderfully made by a God who lifts us up! 🌟

Our collection of bright, floaty scarves aren’t just for dancing - they’re a wonderful tool for emotional regulation and sensory play too! ✨
Through movement, children can express feelings, build focus, and calm their bodies. Waving, twirling, hiding, or wrapping themselves in a scarf helps little ones explore emotions safely while engaging their senses.
Whether we’re floating scarves to gentle music, matching colours to emotions, or simply watching them drift through the air, each moment helps children find their calm and connect with how they feel. 💫
