From Pain to Purpose: A Story of Faith, Courage, and Hope
My journey has been one of resilience, faith, and determination. From losing my sight to standing on the stage of the Toastmasters speech contest, I have discovered that challenges can be transformed into opportunities to inspire others.
Background
My life changed dramatically when I lost my vision. What seemed like the end of possibility became the beginning of a new chapter. Through courage and faith, I found strength to rise above adversity and pursue my passion for motivational speaking.
Purpose
This campaign is about more than just attending a speech contest—it is about sharing a message of hope, courage, and faith with the world. By participating in the District 129 speech contest in Mauritius, I aim to inspire others to believe that no matter the circumstances, it is possible to take life’s best shot and thrive.
Goal
My goal is to raise US$2000 to attend the conference in Mauritius on the 7th -9th of May 2026. This will cover the travel expenses, including return plane tickets, accommodation and sustenance during my stay there. At this conference, that is where the district 129 speech contest will be held where I will be representing division D in the table topics category.
