I am beyond honored.

My niece chose me to be her Matron on her beautiful day.
To be trusted, respected, and believed in by her means the world to me.

She let me be part of every moment, every prayer, every detail.
And what a day it was classic, elegant, truly a wedding of the century ✨

Thank you, my daughter, for choosing me to stand with you.
May your marriage be as beautiful and timeless as your wedding.
I love you and I’m so proud of you.
God bless your union 🙏

Before you say, “He’s not trying hard enough,” pause.

What looks like laziness, carelessness, or lack of interest might be a child struggling with something we cannot see.

A child who takes longer to read.
A child who struggles to follow several instructions.
A child who avoids written work.
A child who keeps making the same mistakes.

These behaviours deserve understanding before judgement.

Instead of asking, “Why isn’t this child trying?”

Ask:

“What is making this task difficult for this child?”

Sometimes, changing the question is the first step toward changing the outcome.

See the learner. Not only the struggle. 💚

Teachers & Parents,

As you teach your learners, ask these 6 questions:

The goal isn’t just to “finish the syllabus”.
The goal is to build readers.

Check for these 6 skills:
Letter Recognition - Does the child know A, B, C?
Letter Sounds- Can they say /a/ for A, /b/ for B?
Word Reading - Can they blend C-A-T?
Reading Fluency - Can they read smoothly, not word by word?
Comprehension - Do they understand what they just read?
Spelling Ability - Can they write simple words correctly?

If we master these, we raise confident readers.
Let’s keep building, one skill at a time 💪

Bane today I was just reflecting…..

Some situations are so draining.
The first instinct is to react, correct, and defend yourself.
Especially in family, church, or work — emotions are high and our flesh wants to jump in.

But wisdom? Whew. That’s an art.
That’s God’s grace + maturity + self-control.

“Playing Dumb = Wisdom + Self-control”
I’m keeping that.

It takes God and prayer to actually live this:
Wisdom + Self-control + Maturity

Because the truth is, some things you just let pass. 😂
That’s what keeps you sane.
Sometimes the most powerful move is to smile, pray, and keep walking.

We’ve been through “insala nainyesha” seasons.
God carried us then, and He’ll carry us now.

For me, I’m aiming for:
✓ Understanding first
✓ Protecting my peace

Even though some days Level 1 still shows up 😅
Grace upon grace.
