18 days ago we had this amazing braai with our business research class. Thank you once again for coming and for giving us such a great impression about Northrise and Zambia!
See how our Zambian class mates liked the project :)
Throwback to one of the activities on our last day at Northrise University - Learning about communication and leadership in group work 🤗

As the end of the trip comes closer, Cara and me have had the opportunity to visit the Victoria falls, which are the second largest waterfalls in the world. It definitely has been an impressive view which we will never forget and that we can only recommend you to do if you ever get the chance! 🗺️

Dare to take the first step!
It is incredible how our time at Northrise flew by but even more incredible is the change that we all went through. When I say "we", I'm not actually talking about us five Germans but about our whole class - that Vinandi has just named the "Research Family" ❤
We have started as two separate groups, with stereotypical expectations on both sides, knowing nothing about the other ones. People were shyly holding back, observing what the others were doing.
Since then, we slowly grew together a bit more everyday. We changed from meetings full of discussions to common achievement. Short moments of frustration were more and more replaced by positive surprises. We learned to take advantage of diversity.
When we said goodbye today, we were nothing like the two separate groups that we have been two weeks ago. So many hugs - so many kind words and hope to see each other again!
I don't know who it was, but I'm so thankful that some of us dared to leave the state of careful observation and took the first step approaching each other.
A big THANK YOU for making one group out of two nations!!!

Yesterday we had the opportunity to go to a Nshima bar. Nshima is the round white food made of corn flour, which is basically eaten with everything and at every meal. Surprisingly, we found it was very delicious and over the past days and weeks we also improved our eating skills without cutlery :)

As always.. time seems to fly. Therefore, today was our last full day at the Northrise campus. Take a look at our lovely dormitory complex which was safe at night 🔐⚡️and convenient for a quick rush over to classes in the mornings 🏃⏰😴.
