Bloom🌻 went to Lusaka!

Remember that Lusaka tour?Students asked for it, Ba 'Come to Lusaka', we listened😅, we even counted money we'd make🤑, we advertised training for Body & Intimate Waxing and Spa Massage in Lusaka, we booked a venue. We boosted the posts on various social media platforms, called for models for students to practise on! We had about seven 'serious' 'am coming' prospective students but they started to fall away closer to the training. None paid the deposit or booking fee, kept promising to, by the date of travel from Ndola, one couldn't get time off work, two promised to pay by day one of training, only one had paid!

Ever the optimist, calculating the cost and the benefits, we were committed, we packed all our equipment, products and ourselves, set up, ready naka uniform😁
Then on day one of training, one(1) student turned up🤭🥺😳
As disappointing as it was we dedicated ourselves to give the best training to ensure the student was ready to start her business straight after training!
Training and coaching is our passion; the sense of satisfaction we get from passing on a skill, sharing experiences, good and bad, about all things starting & running a business, is priceless!
Needless to say, we made a loss😔 accomodation, travel, meals, venue hire for seven days couldn't be covered by one student's fees!

We share this story not to complain, or gain sympathy but to be real, this is authentic business experience, it wasn't all bad, we had wonderful hosts, a dedicated and focused student, plus many models for her to practise and perfect her skill, we posted some of those sessions! Plus got to spend much needed time with family❤️. BUT there were other lessons too, such as advertise differently, follow-up sooner, better budgeting plus more. We've dusted off and picked ourselves up and we're trying again!

Next training calendar for 2023 upto December has been published. Students have plenty of time to pick when they'll be ready to pay and train, even pay slowly if they want to. Or even have training anytime, just pay, it'll be a one on one class!

We'll be ready for business whenever you are, learning lessons as we go, and getting better every day!
