Every year, 05 October is "World Teachers' Day"! It is a day to celebrate the works of teachers. It was established in 1994 by the United Nations and the International Labour Organization & it aims to focus on "appreciating, assessing and improving the educators of the world" and to provide an opportunity to consider issues related to teachers and teaching.

Well, here in the Republic of Zambia, we have a tradition of celebrating "Teachers' Day" on a working day (if "Teachers' Day is on a Saturday, then it is celebrated the day before). This means that we are celebrating it today rather than tomorrow.

So, happy Teachers' Day to all the wonderful Zambian Teachers & we hope their celebrations today are joyous, whether it's with the students they teach or with society. Also, happy World Teachers' Day to the rest of the world tomorrow (05 October). Thank you for all the work you do and the parts you play in raising our children to believe in education and knowledge that is necessary for our lives.

We want to do something that we call the "good person test". This is where we state a mistake or accident that may occur and ask you how you would handle the matter.

Today's Question is like this:

You have surprisingly, unexpectedly received a "Six Hundred Kwacha" (K600) in Zambian Currency from an AirtelMoney Agent number that you do not know.

The money was meant to go to somebody else but it went to you because the Agent forgot to verify the name of the receiver, as he wanted to do the transaction fast-fast and believed he would make no mistake. After re-checking his SMS messages, he realizes a costly error was made and now needs to see what can be done about it.

As the person who received the strange money, what are you going to do in this situation? Are you going to withdraw the money fast-fast and treat it as your own such that even the Airtel Company cannot undo the transaction (it is too late)? Or are you going to call the number that sent you the money to find out if it was a mistake and how you can send it back?

Remember to answer honestly; do not pretend; let us see the people who really value their fellow humans.

Today, 19 November, is "International Men's Day" annually.

While Females have their day on the 8th of March, today is the day for the other gender.

This is the day dedicated to celebrating all that Men & Boys do as well as talking about any issues that they may be going through. Today is the day for males to be shown that we appreciate them & care for them & that we are willing to resolve any existing issues.

The Theme for 2023 is "Zero Male Su***de", indicating that we need to eliminate the thought of "Su***de" from the minds of our boys & men. It is currently the largest killer of males under the age of 50. We need to give them better solutions to any negative mental thoughts & promote life for all! ❤

May all the Grandfathers, Fathers, Sons, Brothers, Boyfriends & Husbands know that we appreciate them for all they do for us & we need them with us. We care about them & their feelings & their safety & security.
