On 25th July 2026, The Copperbelt University Biomedical Sciences Association (COBUBA) participated in the orientation of 1st-year Bachelor of Science (Non-Quota) students from the School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the Copperbelt University Riverside Main Campus in Kitwe.

The session provided an opportunity to introduce aspiring School of Medicine students to the field of Biomedical Sciences, address common misconceptions about the programme, and highlight the indispensable role Biomedical Scientists play in healthcare, research, and medical innovation.

We were encouraged by the students' enthusiasm, curiosity, and engagement throughout the session. COBUBA remains committed to supporting and inspiring future Biomedical Scientists as they make informed decisions about their academic and professional journeys.
