Ward Development Committees in bwana mkubwa constituency.

Yesterday as Wdc under infrastructure development... we were grading the 700m masangano road, and it was spearheaded by the office of the mushili ward area councillor Madam Cindy kaluba with the help of our local business center God first bakery (GF) . We will continue to bring development to the ward! Be part of that change in development as mushili residents, remember together we can and together we shall. Well done madam councilor and appropriations goes to God first bakery.

NYDC (National youth development council) will be registering youth clubs at a fee of k200 and cooperatives at a fee of k500 on a date to be communicated soon (probably before Friday)
The venue is at the Parliamentary Constituency Office of Bwanamkubwa (Kansengu Junction. Jacaranda Villa flat 1.)

Boyas community school was hive Of activity this afternoon,12/05/22 when water and sanitation visited Mushili ward following complaints from members of the community over high charges and suspected billing system. The councilor Cindy B Kaluba invited kafubu to a meeting with residents to try and Iron out various water challenges faced by residents. ( Commercial manager and others). The two sides exchanged ideas, views and agreed on common ground. WDC chairman Mr simwale was the master of ceremony. In attendance were some WDc members.The residents suggested to have their Pre paid meters installed and for those who are on fixed charge to be on payment plans.

We Met with the Korean food for the hungry international, and in our midst we had her honor madam cindy kaluba. We discussed about child development programs, how we will partner with the organization and see to it that the children and the vulnerables are helped with regards to education and health.

The Ward Development Committee shall be responsible for:

a) Providing a forum for dialogue & coordination on Ward Development issues;
b) Submitting to the CDFC, applications for Projects, Secondary Boarding Schools and Skills Development Bursaries and Empowerment Projects;
c) Identifying areas for capacity building within the Ward;
d) Preparing quarterly reports on developmental activities within the Ward to the appropriate Committee of the Local Authority;
e) Developing and maintaining a Ward based database as guided by the Local Authority; and
f) Project implementation, management and monitoring.

The local community shall be responsible for:

a) Participating in community meetings;
b) Identifying community needs; c) Submitting proposals to the WDC through the Zone;
d) Participating in project implementation when required; and
e) Monitoring implementation of CDF projects. We presume with this handful information we shall work together as a constituency in general, a ward respectively and community where we're coming from. Let's take Ken interest in developmental issues within our ward. We invite you all to help us serve and transform mushili better.

People of mushili are encouraged to take advantage of the CDF by engaging themselves in cooperatives and joining clubs.. out of that access to cdf we can help boost the economy of the country and transform mushili ward into a better environment.
