When Ambassador Frank Mutubila confirmed that he was going to be on Dads Without Dads, I visited Suit City Zambia and bought myself a new suit to reflect the decorum and accolades of the kind of guest I was hosting. To my surprise, the 73-year old Talk With Frank showed up looking simple and classy β underscoring his humility. His presence was intimidating to me because he's been a journalist for 56 years and I have never been one. Such an honor to chat with the man who created Kwacha Good Morning Zambia, Let The People Talk, Frank Talk and other educative TV and radio programs. He is the true embodiment of Zambian journalism.

Welcome to ZambiaπΏπ² where some parents send their children to boarding houses and immediately disappear financially. π
Now the girl child is surviving because of one urgly old man whom she calls bubu and served him as Uncle John, the man looks very tired π€£ and finished in terms of health, she only sees him at night:
πΊ Big stomach
𦡠Johnny Bravo legs
π Speaking big English like a lawyer
The funniest part:
And when he coughs: βBUFUU! BUFUU!β ππ You even think a tractor has started.
All this because of:
π₯ A tray of eggs
π Hungry Lion
π― Shawarma
ποΈ Bedspace rentals
Meanwhile the girl now has:
π A school boyfriend
π° A sugar daddy
π¨πΎβπ« One lecturer she calls βbestie.β π€£
The boarding house itself is another country:
π Bonnets
π©³ Bum shorts
π§πΎββοΈ Towels
π Pajamas everywhere
Busy taking half-dressed pictures and twerking videos to show who has a bigger nyash and share on social media.
βSoft life β€οΈβ π
Meanwhile the boy child has become a full-time hustler:
π± Phones missing
π» Laptops disappearing
π² Tablets gone
ππΎββοΈ Even ladiesβ hair is not safe ππ
The nearby pharmacy never runs out of morning-after pills, and the shawarma guy already knows everyoneβs order by heart. π€£
Some students were expelled long ago but still carry books every morning just to confuse parents back home.
Meanwhile the parents are proudly saying:
βOur children are very serious with school.β
Not knowing the boarding house has already turned into a full marriage compound. π

So I got married last year to the man who sponsored my education. Have no kids yet though. Thanks to him, today I work as a government teacher in a secondary & high school. I actually just got recruited to this school where I teach Geography.
But please, I'm confused. There's this particular guy, actually a male colleague of mine. He has been working here as a Biology teacher for 6 years. Since I arrived & started work, he has been so nice to me, guiding & showing me around, buying me gifts too, and keeping me company so I don't feel alone since I'm new. We got so close after a month. I don't know, but I just really feel so comfortable & safe with him, even more than my husband. I love his company. If I'm to be honest, I feel like I can share & tell him everything.
Even my husband doesn't get me gifts like this guy does. He is such a kind & gentle man, i must comment, he truly knows how to treat a lady but something about his behavior, actually changed recently. Which leaves me confused. He switched from food gifts & started getting me underwear, bras, and perfumes. Even on 'Teachers Day' he bought me same gifts. This has actually been going on for about 2 weeks now. Please people, this keeps me wondering if it's okay that i keep collecting these gifts. Considering the fact that, I'm a married woman.
Truth is, we've been so close, and I don't know how to go about rejecting these gifts since he is actually doing it with pure intentions, with no strings attached, and he's been so nice to me ever since I got here. I plead for your advice & guidance π

Mojtaba Khamenei to succeed his father as Iran's supreme leader
(BBC) Mojtaba Khamenei is named as Iran's new supreme leader, state media reports.
He replaces his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed at his compound in Tehran in the first wave of US and Israeli strikes.
Born on 8 September 1969 in the northeastern city of Mashhad, Mojtaba is the second of Ali Khamenei's six children.
He received his secondary education at the religious Alavi School in Tehran.
At age 17, Mojtaba served in the military for several short periods during the Iran-Iraq War, according to Iranian media. The eight-year bloody conflict made the regime even more suspicious of the US and the West, which supported Iraq.
In 1999, Mojtaba went to Qom, a holy city which is considered an important centre of Shia theology, to continue his religious studies. It is notable that he did not wear clerical clothing until this time.
Unlike his father, Mojtaba has largely kept a low profile. He has never held any government office, nor has he given public speeches or interviews. Only a limited number of photos and videos of him have been published.
However, there are longstanding rumours about his influence as a gatekeeper to his father.
US diplomatic cables, which were published by WikiLeaks in the late 2000s, described him as "the power behind the robes" who was widely regarded as a "capable and forceful leader" within the regime, according to the Associated Press.
