ZCAS University commenced its Culture Day celebrations with a spirited march-past, where students proudly paraded in rhythm and colour in a vibrant salute to tradition and unity.

The festivities continued with a dazzling runway show, where diverse cultures were celebrated through traditional attire and creative expressions, reinforcing the theme of unity in diversity.

We were honoured to host His Royal Highness Chief Bunda Bunda of the Soli people as Guest of Honour, who emphasized the importance of embracing diversity while preserving cultural heritage.

Professor Edwin Benkele, Vice Chancellor, highlighted ZCAS University’s remarkable strides as it approaches its 10th anniversary including:

- First place in two categories at the 2026 ZAMREN Student Hackathon in Livingstone
- Second place in the ZRA Know Your Tax quiz competition
- Recognition of the ZCASU School of Law as the best upcoming law school

Representing the Executive Director, Dr. Egret C. Lengwe, remarks underscored the importance of fostering a unified culture and community.

We were further honoured by the presence of representatives from the Embassies of Nigeria, Congo DR and Rwanda, a true testament to the spirit of international friendship and collaboration.

Cultural Day 2026 was not only a celebration of heritage, but also a showcase of ZCAS University’s growing impact and excellence.

ZCAS University recently hosted a prestigious information session on the 𝐑𝐡𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, providing our students with a unique window into one of the world’s most elite academic opportunities at the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐱𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝. The session was designed to demystify the application process and inspire our high-achieving scholars to pursue fully funded postgraduate studies on a global stage.

Empowering the next generation of digital leaders, ZCAS University recently hosted an insightful fireside chat featuring Mr. Francis Mumbi, Head of Data Analytics at Stanbic Bank Zambia.

The session offered a deep dive into the evolving world of ICT, specifically focusing on the real-world applications of Machine Learning in the banking sector. From fraud detection to predictive modeling, our students gained a firsthand look at how data is reshaping modern finance and the specific skill sets required to thrive in a competitive corporate environment.

We extend our appreciation to the ICTAZ-ZCASU Student Chapter, led by Chapter President Shammah King Kausa and Matron Mrs. Prudence Chukwugozi Lawrence, for facilitating this valuable bridge between academic learning and industry expertise.
