IMPORTANT NOTICE 🛑

Dear Students,

Please be informed that the commencement of classes for the Semester has been rescheduled from Monday, 17 August 2026, to Wednesday, 19 August 2026.

This adjustment has been necessitated by the ongoing announcement of the results of the just-concluded 2026 general elections. The University has taken this decision as a precautionary measure to safeguard the welfare and security of our students and staff and to facilitate a smooth commencement of academic activities. Accordingly, classes and orientation of new students will commence on Wednesday, 19 August 2026, and students are expected to report and attend classes as reflected on the official timetable from that date.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience that this change may cause and appreciate your understanding, patience, and cooperation. The University remains committed to ensuring a safe and conducive environment for teaching and learning. Students are encouraged to continue checking their official University communication channels for any further updates. We look forward to welcoming you back and wish you a successful Semester.

NOTICE: 2026 SEMESTER 2 OPENING DATE RESCHEDULED

Dear ZCAS University Student,

As you are aware, full-time and part-time classes for the 2026 Semester 2 were scheduled to commence on 10th August 2026.

However, due to elections that take place the same week on 13th August 2026, full-time and part-time classes will now commence on 17th August 2026 to enable students to participate in the elections. Accordingly, note the following changes made to the 2026-27 Academic Calendar:

1. Normal registration will now close on 14th August 2026.

2. Orientation for first year students will take place from 17th to 18th August 2026.

3. A few other dates have been adjusted as shown in the Revised 2026-27 Academic Calendar that you can download from the e-Learning Portal or from this link: https://moodle.zcasu.edu.zm/mod/resource/view.php?id=26815

4. You are free to move into residential accommodation from 8th August 2026.
