Destiny Christian School and Community Centre Destiny exists to provide equal access to education for all. We seek to empower vulnerable children. It has two school in Lusaka & Chingola.

Destiny Christian School is a Christ centered education institution. Our school is registered with the ministry of education with the registration number of 3030215 & also registered with registrar of societies. It has a total enrollment levels of 800 children for two schools. Destiny School is non-governmental, non-profit making & non-partisan by it's nature.

Theme: Dream Big, Work Hard, Never Give Up!!

Many years ago, I worked as an Assistant Medical Laboratory Technician in a Government Hospital. The government even gave me an opportunity to continue studying Laboratory Technology at Ndola Central Hospital.

Most people thought I would become a Medical Laboratory Technician. But I asked myself one important question:

"What if one day I cannot find a job?"

I wanted a career that would give me practical skills. I wanted a profession where I could create my own work if no one employed me. That is why I chose Electrical Engineering.

Today, if there is no company to employ an electrician, he or she can still repair houses, install electricity, fix machines, start a business and earn a living. That decision changed my life.

Lesson for you:
✓ Don't only choose a career because it sounds nice.
✓ Choose something you enjoy and something that gives you useful skills.
✓ Skills can feed you for the rest of your life.

REQUIRED SUBJECTS FOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING.

For Electrical Engineering, the most important subjects are Mathematics, Science, English, ICT and Technical Drawing
✓ Mathematics helps you calculate.
✓ Science helps you understand how electricity works.
✓ English helps you communicate and understand instructions.
✓ Technical Drawing and ITC teaches you how to design, Read and use electrical plans for Renovations, Installations and Repairs.
The classroom is the training ground for your future career.

CONCLUSION

DESTINY SCHOOL OLDIES DAY!!

Theme: “Yesterday Meets Tomorrow!”

Imagine waking up to a school filled with grandpas and grandmas, except they are all children! Walking slowly with walking sticks, dressed in old-fashioned clothes, wearing glasses, speaking with wisdom, and sharing stories from the “good old days.”

Oldies Day at Destiny School is more than just fun and laughter. It is a creative learning experience that helps learners appreciate how far society has come and why embracing positive change is important. By stepping into the shoes of older generations, pupils learn to value history, respect their elders, and understand that progress comes through learning, innovation, and adaptation.

Today’s old-fashioned child becomes tomorrow’s innovative leader. At Destiny School, we don’t just teach change but we help our learners experience why it matters.

Last Friday, the learners of Destiny School proudly celebrated Career Day, dressing as doctors, teachers, police officers, pilots, nurses, engineers, farmers, and many other future leaders. DESTINY SCHOOL CAREER DAY – FUTURE POLICE OFFICERS IN THE MAKING!

Today has been a special and inspiring day at Destiny School as our children proudly dressed as police officers and shared their dreams of serving our nation.

As we watched these young boys and girls march with confidence and purpose, we were reminded that every great leader, protector, and public servant begins with a dream. Behind every uniform is a calling to uphold justice, protect the vulnerable, maintain peace, and serve society with integrity.

Career Day is not just about costumes. It is about nurturing vision, building character, and helping children believe that they can become responsible citizens who make a positive difference in the world.

We pray that these future police officers will grow into men and women of courage, honesty, discipline, and compassion. May they become guardians of peace and examples of servant leadership in Zambia and beyond.
