A few fun highlights from yesterday's elections. Did you come and cast your vote?
Firsy, we'd like to extend thanks to the UNZALAW electoral commission who were diligent in their duties to conduct these elections in a free and fair manner. VIVA UNZALAW! And secondly, Ladies and gentlemen, our newly elected association executive: President Elect for 2027 Collins Mwanamwalye!
Vice President Ndanji Naulemba,
Secretary general Wiza Mvula,
Vice Secretary General Joseph Shachele,
Sports and recreation secretary Steven Musonda.
We wish them well in their endeavours to lead the association to the best of their abilities!

We are proud to announce that the University of Zambia School of Law emerged victorious at the inaugural Eden University National Moot Competition (Criminal Jurisdiction), held at Eden University’s Great East Road Campus on 10 August 2026.
Through hard work, dedication, and exceptional advocacy, our team secured first place and received a total of six certificates of recognition.
The victorious team comprised:

COLLINS MWANAMWALYE – 3rd Year, recipient of the Best Male Orator Award
TANISHA PHIRI – 2nd Year, recipient of the Best Female Orator Award
GIFT MWEEMBA - 3rd, receipt of Legal Excellence.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the entire team and everyone who helped them prepare, supported them on this historic accomplishment
