Yesterday was peak longest run and highest weekly mileage for my Absa Marathon 2026 training block.

Immediately after your final peak week, begin your taper phase.

This morning, I did a very easy 1hr recovery run. We are officially in Taper city

How is your training going?

For me so far so good and this week I did a Tempo run yesterday and a Midweek longish run this morning.

Sweat is lighter with friends.
Goals are closer with a team!

Yesterday I had the privilege of taking the pre and post run vibes to another amazing group run at the TempoFit Zm 1.7 edition hosted by Let's Walk Zambia

We ran as one the whole 11Km 🏃‍♀️

To anyone training alone, look out for the next collaboration near you. We run at our pace, we finish together.

Today was 250m repeats with the Squad

Hill repeats are a must for every runner in that one builds strength, mental toughness, improves speed when running on a flat and strengthens your leg muscles 🦵 as you can see from my leg 😂
