Keys To Life

Keys To Life Educating and globalising vulnerable children and women. We enjoy pricing power in consultancy services.

The number of OVCs in communities throughout the country is growing exponentially and as such new forms of complexities in dealing with the socio-economic, socio-cultural, spiritual and moral responsibilities are developing. This is especially true in and expanding economy like Zambia as the standards of living make further gain, the gap between the rich and the poor is growing. The implication of

this disparity is a reduction of the purchasing power and participation of the majority of households in the country in the maintenance of high quality services in all sectors of life including education. Sales and marketing of educational resources is the main source of income currently. Donor funding can play an integral role in subsidizing consultancy costs. Our ultimate goal is to build a service so unique and promote it so effectively that clients and donors will be willing to pay a premium. Our long-term objective is to build an education system that is aware of very high standards of educational practice, and is both willing to practice them and change where necessary.

How to Help Slow Learners
A slow learner is a child who learns at a pace a little behind others of their age and grade level. Slow learners are not always learning disabled, and may have ordinary lives outside of the classroom. However, academic subjects are a challenge for them. To help slow learners, take a variety of approaches to teaching important subject matter. Get support for the students inside and outside the classroom. Most importantly, encourage slow learners by working with them patiently and by celebrating their successes.

Keys to Life is offering Remedial Lessons

Has your child recently been diagnosed with a learning disability? Did you immediately begin to worry about how he or she will cope with school? It’s only natural to want the best for your child but academic success, while important, isn’t the end goal. What you really want for your child is a happy and fulfilling life. With encouragement and the right support, your child can build a strong sense of self-confidence and a solid foundation for lifelong success.
Dyslexia is one of the most commonly found and widely recognised learning disability. However, it is actually one of the least prohibitive difficulties which students can suffer from. If found early enough a child with Dyslexia can be taught to overcome their innate difficulties with reading. When students are left for long periods without intervention the ease for solving their issues is made more complicated

We are offering remedial lessons for children with READING and MATHS difficulties (could be dyslexia) and other suspected learning difficulties. The programmes designed to meet children’s needs. We are also offering sessions for children preparing for examinations, Grade 7 and 9 preparatory sessions.

Children’s rights in the human rights framework

The Convention on the Rights of the Child sets out the rights that must be realized for children to develop their full potential, free from hunger and want, neglect and abuse. It reflects a new vision of the child. Children are neither the property of their parents nor are they helpless objects of charity. They are human beings and are the subject of their own rights. The Convention offers a vision of the child as an individual and as a member of a family and community, with rights and responsibilities appropriate to his or her age and stage of development. By recognizing children's rights in this way, the Convention firmly sets the focus on the whole child.
