These games, which began earlier this month, were a truly inspiring event that brought together students from various institutions through the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and unity.

Today, the Avionics Engineering students from the Zambian Air Services Training Institute (ZASTI) embarked on an insightful educational tour at the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) — a visit that bridged two dynamic fields: aviation and electronic communication systems.

At the heart of avionics lies the mastery of radio communication, signal processing, data transmission, and electronic systems — the very pillars that also power national broadcasting. This visit was not just a tour; it was a technical immersion into how signal integrity, modulation, frequency management, and system maintenance are practically implemented in real-time broadcasting environments.

🎛️🛫 Whether managing in-flight communications, cockpit systems, or airport control links — our students witnessed how the same engineering principles applied at ZNBC are foundational to navigating the skies safely and effectively.

This experience deepened their understanding of:

ZASTI Delighted to Host Competitive Games Against ICU

ZASTI is proud to have hosted a series of thrilling and highly competitive games against ICU. The event showcased the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and dedication from both institutions.

The games included football, volleyball (men’s and women’s), basketball, netball, and chess, with each match demonstrating the incredible talent and determination of our athletes.

We are especially grateful to ICU for their participation and for making this competition a memorable one. The matches were intense, exciting, and a true reflection of the power of sports in bringing students together.
