As Zambia goes to the polls on 13 August 2026, students and young people are encouraged to participate peacefully and make informed, independent decisions about the future of our country.

Education must remain an important consideration. Students should carefully examine the policies and commitments presented by all candidates, including their plans for:

✅ Support for students in both public and private institutions
✅ Investment in colleges and universities
✅ Quality assurance and programme accreditation
✅ Graduate employment, entrepreneurship and skills development
✅ Affordable and accessible education for every Zambian

🎓 A Proud Morning at Kopaline University
This morning, we had the pleasure of interacting with our students as they prepared to meet His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zambia, Mr Hakainde Hichilema, at his invitation later today.
It was wonderful to meet both our online and on-campus students who were able to attend this special meet-and-greet engagement. During our selfie moment, we could see their excitement, ambition and great expectations for the future.
We also took the opportunity to announce that Kopaline University’s forthcoming graduation ceremony will be held on 7 December 2026.
We further assured our students that all the programmes in which they are enrolled are officially accredited by the Higher Education Authority (HEA). Every graduate will therefore be recognised as having studied in a quality-assured and accredited programme.
We wish our students a successful and memorable engagement with the President today. We have asked them to convey our warm greetings and appreciation to His Excellency, President Hakainde Hichilema.
We are proud of our students and look forward to seeing them grow into confident graduates and future leaders who will contribute meaningfully to Zambia’s development.
