We are happy to introduce Aude Hertzler, our new courses director. Swipe and get to know her!

1. What is one French phrase everyone should know?
“Ça va aller!". That’s my personal motto!

2. One “must watch" French film/show recommendation?
“Le cinquième élément" by Luc Besson. Great cast, great adventure, and a lot of emotions on the way!

3. Who is Aude, outside of the title “Course Director”?
Someone who enjoys doing all sorts of crafts from crocheting to pottery and drawing. Someone who enjoys making new discoveries and sharing moments with friends and family. Nightskies and chocolate lover.

4. What would you tell someone who says “French is hard"?
Yes, it is. But it’s also very exciting to face challenges when you start learning something. I also believe that the more difficult things are, the more people discover about themselves along the way.

On Wednesday 13th May, The Embassy of France 🇫🇷 in Zambia and Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany 🇩🇪, Lusaka jointly bring the screening of Joyeux Noël, the Oscar nominated film by Christian Carion depicting the 1914 christmas truce between the two sides.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion on Franco-German friendship and equivalents in African history.

German and French delicacies will also be provided for everyone!
