I am deeply humbled and honoured to share that I received the Governor's Honorary Award for my Contribution to Financial Education in Zambia during yesterday's Financial Literacy Awards.
This is the second award of this nature that I have received, the first being the 2018 Governor's Award for Outstanding Educator Initiative in Financial Education which I received together with my friend and brother Edgar Shiluwe

WHO IS RICHARD FISONGA
Richard Fisonga is a dynamic educator and researcher in the fields of Financial Education, Financial Accounting, Entrepreneurship/Intrapreneurship, Development finance and Education Management and Administration. His aim is to create and explore new frontiers of financial knowledge and advanced strategies and techniques that facilitate knowledge and skills transfer in financial education which meets the
needs of the 21st century global community. He has over nineteen (19) years’ experience as a Business educator 13 of which have been in Middle and top management. He has actively participated in financial education programmes for over 10 years.
He holds an MBA in Finance from ZCAS University, A Bachelor of Business Administration with Education degree from University of Lusaka, an Accounting Technician Certificate from ZICA and a Secondary School Teacher’s Diploma in Business Studies from Kwame Nkrumah University.
