PhD in any field (by research)
- Applicant must have 5 'O' Levels at Credit or better including English Language or equivalent qualification.
-A bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a recognised university
-Master's degree in a relevant field from a recognised university
MBA Finance
- Applicants must have 5 'O' levels at credit or better including English Language or equivalent qualification
- A bachelor's degree in accounting and finance, accountancy, banking and finance, economics, professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CA Zambia, ICAEW, CPA or in a related field.
MBA - Supply Chain Management:
- Applicants must have 5 'O' levels at credit level or better including English or equivalent qualification
- A bachelor's degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management, Production Management, Project Management, Transport and Logistics, Supply Chain Management or in a related field.
MBA – General
- Applicants must have 5 'O' levels at credit or better including English Language or equivalent qualification
- A bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognised university
MBA – Human Resource Management

The minimum entry requirements to the programme are as follows:
i. A Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources/Environmental and Natural Resources Management, Environmental Science, Geography, Engineering, Geomatics, Computer Science or any other related field from a recognised university with a credit; or lower second class Honours.
ii. Graduates with at least second class first degree Honours from other recognised universities will be also be eligible
iii. Holders of a Bachelor’s degree but do not meet the above criteria may be considered on the basis of having two years
of work experience related to GIS and Earth observation

The University Of Zambia- Institute of Distance Education wishes to inform all graduates from the recently held 51st Graduation ceremony that took place from 25th April to 27th April, 2022 that the Undergraduate and PhD Certificates are ready for collection.

Please note that Communication will be shared as soon as the Postgraduate certificates are ready for collection.

Requirements for Collection.
1. Clearance Certificate
2. National Registration Card/Passport/Driver's Licence(any other official document)

In a case where one is unable to collect, the agent/proxy collecting on behalf of the graduate will need to provide the following documents;

1. A letter of authorization addressing it to the Director.
2. National Registration Card/Passport/Driver's Licence(any other official document) copies of the graduate and the person collecting the Certificate.
3. Clearance certificate.

The Certificates can be collected from our IDE offices in Jesmondine by the Reception area.

The University Of Zambia- Institute of Distance Education wishes to inform all students that are scheduled for residential classes from 27th June, 2022 to 8th July, 2022 that accommodation at UNZA main campus will be available from 26th June, 2022 to 9th July, 2022 at a fee of K40 per day. (Account details will be availed later)
However, students are advised to make other alternatives in an event that they are not accommodated, as admission is not attached to accommodation.
