Observance of Global Hand Washing Day

As part of our commitment to health and hygiene, we observed Global Hand Washing Day on 15th October, 2024 at the main campus.This day served as an important reminder of the critical role that hand hygiene plays in preventing the spread of infectious diseases.

Purpose of Global Hand Washing Day:
Global Hand Washing Day is an annual campaign aimed at promoting hand washing with soap as a key hygiene practice. It emphasizes the importance of hand hygiene in reducing the incidence of illnesses and improving public health outcomes.
Activities:
To commemorate this day, we organized the following activities:
1. Hand Hygiene Workshops: Sessions were held to educate students about effective hand washing techniques and the significance of proper hygiene practices.
2.Awareness Campaign:Posters and informational material was displayed at various stations around the main campus to raise awareness about the importance of hand washing.

Together, we can foster a healthier workplace and community🫱🏽‍🫲🏽
