THOUGHTS OF THE EVENING "This is the message we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and him is no darkness at all."How do we interpret this text beloved;the light must shine in our hearts, for if it does, it will be noticed by others and they will perceive our desire for the day of the Lord. they will become aware that we want to participate in the day of the Lord. Therefore, let us make sure that the light which comes from God shines in our heart.God is light;there is no darkness in him. God shed light into our hearts on the day we were sealed with the holy spirit.Let this light shine every moment of our lives because it enables us to carry on.My advice is: let us stay in the light.....let us make sure that we persevere in faith and continue to hope in the return of Christ. Let your light so shine before men. Have a Blessed Night.

These words were spoken by David when he was in danger and he realised that its only at the mountain where he can find peace; (cause in olden days God used to speak to his people from mountains.) Coming to our time, "where is the mountain that we can look to?" Its the Alter beloved. which is found in the peaceful valley (Church). Whenever trials and temptations comes in our life, we just go to the valley and look at the hill which is found in the valley and God we strengthen us through his servants. This is because when we hear the glad tidings (i.e your sins are forgiven and the peace of the Risen One be with you.) our hearts become filled with joy. for we know that salvation has been granted to us and our sins have been forgiven. Therefore beloved let us see to it that we attend divine services for us to attain salvation. For salvation was brought to earth by Jesus for the sake of the reconcillation between God and mankind. AMEN
