At Blessings University of Excellence (BLUE) we take seriously physical fitness as attained through participation in university sports clubs such as basketball and soccer. We take Physical fitness as being essential to ensuring improvement of the academic performance of students. These Blessings University of Excellence students are conducting routine trainning sessions in basket ball and soccer. It so wonderfull to see them use the academically conducive environment, one full of fun and excitement, to excell in their academic journey.

The 2026 National Youth Day in Zambia was celebrated on March 12th. With notable progress made in various sectors of our country, such as access to quality education and acquisition of jobs by many youths, Blessings University of Excellence (BLUE) students joined the celebration with excitement. BLUE students marched lifting their banner under theme "Arise and Soar."

It is the Blessings University of Excellence Graduation Ceremony. This much awaited event is just around the corner.

The Blessings University of Excellence (BLUE) community has learnt with sadness the passing of Deaconess Dr. Elen Mutekenya Mwelwa, who went to be with the Lord on Thursday, 21st August 2025.

Dr. Mwelwa served diligently on the University Council and made remarkable contributions to the development of BLUE.

The University Council, Management, Staff, and Students extend their deepest condolences to her family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Blessing University of Excellence (BLUE) Management, Faculty and entire Staff were at it again.

This time BLUE shared academic knowledge and experience to the nation through hosting a Leadership Skills Workshop.

It was on 27th of June 2025 that BLUE hosted the Workshop. People with vast leadership knowledge and experience were among the presenters as well as panelists. They shared vast knowledge and experience behind their scored successes. What a day this was!!!

Over 100 delegates representing both the Public and Private sectors were in attendence. Also in attendence were spiritual leaders from various spiritual settings.

The highlight of this occasion was the morning session in which The Chancellor of BLUE, who is also the General Overseer of Bread of Life Church International, Bishop Joe Imakando, graced the occasion as both the Guest of Honor as well as Key Note Speaker. In this mornning session the audience was accorded the rare opportunity to gain profound knowledge and insight in the area of Leadership. Also, delegates were accorded the opportunity to enjoy a heart-to-heart interaction with the Chancellor through question and answer deliberations.

CALL FOR CURRICULUM VITAE

The Blessings University of Excellence (BLUE) is a tier two private Christian University with Christian Ethos offering Government approved and accredited programs from Certificate to Masters Level. The University has formal registration and accreditation with the Ministry of Education under the Higher Education Authority (HEA) Act No. 4 of 2013.
The University will be introducing TEVETA approved training programs in the coming months and wishes to have on its database a pool of TEVETA registered lecturers/instructors to work with when these programs commence. In this regard, BLUE is calling for TEVETA accredited, suitably qualified ( Masters, Bachelors and Diploma) and versatile individuals to submit their curriculum vitae to the undersigned. The individual respondents to this call should be able to lecture/instruct in one or more of the following areas and other TEVETA approved programs:
i. Teaching Methodology
ii. Hospitality Management
iii. General Hospitality
iv. Social Work
v. Psychosocial Counseling
vi. Computer Studies
vii. Human Resource
