The Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM) is proud to have participated in the Joint Associations Winter School, which was held in Lilongwe, Malawi, from 10th to 13th June 2026.

Bringing together marketing professionals from Zambia, Malawi, and Zimbabwe, the Winter School provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and meaningful discussions on the future of marketing in the Digital-AI era.

MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE

The Zambia Institute of Marketing is saddened by the passing of Mr. David Mukwavi, a distinguished marketing professional and an active member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing, whose dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to advancing the marketing profession will be remembered for years to come.

On behalf of the Council, Management, and the entire ZIM membership, we extend our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the Mukwavi family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.

Throwback to 29th May 2026

On this day, the Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM) and the Zambia Institute of Mass Communication Educational Trust (ZAMCOM) formalized a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

This collaboration marks a shared commitment to advancing marketing and communication education in Zambia, while creating greater opportunities for academic and professional development.

A key outcome of this partnership is the introduction of the Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Communications and Brand Management, designed to equip professionals with the skills needed to thrive in today's dynamic marketing and communications landscape.

Together, we are strengthening the connection between academia and industry and shaping the next generation of marketing and communication professionals.
