Zambia joined the rest of the international community in commemorating the International Day of Forests (IDF) under the theme "Forests & Sustainable Cities." On the copperbelt province, the commemorative event was in Ndola at Frederick Chiluba comprehensive secondary school in Lubuto west under the collaborative efforts of ZANEEP Ndola Chapter and the Provincial Forestry Office. Over a thousand of trees were planted with the help of pupils and teachers.

On Monday the 13th of March, 2017. ZANEEP CBU-Chapter had a joint litter walk with the CBU- Rotaract Club.
People talk about working for more than themselves yet do nothing about it. It should not be forgotten that 'No Task Is To Small', even a litter walk counts. Anne Frank said, "No one has ever become poor by giving." so why not give some of your time to the community; to society? Be the change you want to see.
We as a society would like to thank the CBU-Rotaractors for working with us. Hopefully, more joint projects are to come.

Looking back at last year's environmental projects. A big thumbs up to The Environmental Engineers. We look forward to doing more this year.
