Little Legends Pre and Primary School (LLPP) is a Zambian run and based child care facility striving to provide the most excellent care to the children of Lusaka. Our goal is to alleviate the stress of parents searching tirelessly for care for their children both before school age and after school age. LLPP has been open since August 2014 and has since endeavored to ensure that children and parent
s are served in accordance with our core values namely; relationships, consistency, play, excellence, wellness and family. However, the story of Little Legends began long before its doors opened on Tuesday 5th August 2014. Louise Mupeta, Naima Lala and Ceaser Mupeta, the directors of LLPP, had a strong desire to change the face of child care in Lusaka by offering what they call “full care.” This dream began as just talks of ‘one day’ and ‘somehow’ and though all the financing was not available to start this project, strategy and planning began in November 2013. Once the company name was filed with PACRA, a logo was then designed and the dream began to materialize. During the months of June and July 2014 a lot of ground works to ensure the center was in tip top shape before opening transpired. With the directors themselves and many of their friends and family chipping in to do manual labour such as digging, planting, painting, cleaning and much more, the center was ready for the outside world. After a year of running the day care and preschool, Naima began to hope for expansion into primary. After tirelessly convincing of her fellow business partners, Little Legends expanded to incorporate primary school in January 2016. By adding grades 1-4, we feel we are well on our way to adding value to the education sector of Lusaka and the nation at large. Little Legends Primary (LLP) is a diverse community of learners that strives for excellence; values individuality; fosters a passion for learning; promotes the balanced development of mind, body, and character; encourages service; and instills a respect for others. Our goal is to develop legends with dynamic and creative minds, a sense of understanding and compassion for others, and the courage to act on their beliefs. We stress the total development of children; moral, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical, and our ultimate mission is providing exceptional child care and education at an international level for a local affordable price.
