AIM-HIGHER YOUTH COOPERATIVE AT THE ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAIN 2026

Yesterday, Aim-Higher Youth Cooperative - Zambia represented by Mr Friday Wisdom Chamfya was honored to participate in the historic Entrepreneurship Train by the Zambian Governance Foundation (ZGF).

This groundbreaking program brings together young entrepreneurs from across Zambia 🇿🇲 to receive mentorship, business development support, and networking opportunities while traveling from Lusaka to Livingstone.

We proud participate and exhibited our business venture, Peanco General Dealers showcasing our flagship product, Peanco Peanut Butter, as part of our commitment to promoting local manufacturing, value addition, entrepreneurship, and youth-led economic growth.

We were particularly honored to witness the endorsement of this initiative by the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprise Development. Through the remarks delivered by SMEs Director Ms. Pamela Chitulangoma, young entrepreneurs were encouraged to maximize this unique opportunity to acquire practical business skills, connect with mentors, and explore new business opportunities.

We also commend the Zambia Governance Foundation, under the leadership of Board Chairperson Beatrice Grillo, for creating an innovative platform that inspires learning, mentorship, collaboration, and entrepreneurship among Zambia's youth.

As Aim-Higher Youth Cooperative - Zambia , we remain committed as youths to drive entrepreneurship, and committed to developing sustainable business ventures that contribute to our own Zambia's economic transformation.

Today, as we join the world in celebrating World Environment Day under the local theme “Accelerating Zambia’s Climate Action for a Greener Growth and Sustainability,” Aim-Higher Youth Cooperative - Zambia proudly reflects on our continued commitment to climate action, environmental protection, green entrepreneurship and youth empowerment.

As a youth-led cooperative organization in Zambia 🇿🇲, we have implemented impactful initiatives including the Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Resilience Project, supported by the European Union in the UK 🇪🇺 and Global Youth Mobilization, as well as our climate change awareness campaigns and book launch, all aimed at strengthening youth participation in building climate resilience and sustainable communities.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all cooperating organizations, collaborators, partners, and stakeholders who have supported, collaborated with, and capacitated us in implementing these initiatives. 🎉 We are proud to announce that Aim-Higher Youth Cooperative - Zambia 🇿🇲 in partnership with Glocolearning from Belgium 🇧🇪 emerged as the #1 winning match in the first Africa-Europe Innovation Platform (AEIP) Thematic Challenge on the Green Transition! 🌱

Out of more than 250 organizations from Africa and Europe that submitted Expressions of Interest, only 45 partnerships were matched and 27 collaborations successfully developed innovative solutions addressing climate adaptation, the circular economy, and sustainable innovation.

This recognition reflects our commitment to empowering young people and advancing innovative, sustainable solutions that create lasting impact across communities.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Glocolearning, AEIP, and all stakeholders who made this collaboration possible. Together, we are demonstrating the power of cross-continental partnerships in driving meaningful change.
