Confucius Institute at the university of Zambia is now recruiting Local chinese teachers through the Chinese international Education Language Foundation (China).

Requirements;
-Bachelors Degree in Chinese Language
-Hsk 5 (180)
-Hskk middle (60)
-Zambian nationality

Successful applications will be posted to any of the schools in the ten provinces in Zambia.

WHAT' S NEW:

Because of the difficulty that international mailing of the gifts may cause, the organizers of the competition in China have decide to change the prize gift into MONETARY form, and the awards are planned as below:



1) The Grand Prize: one person will be awarded 8800 ZMK



2) The First Prize: one person will be awarded 3600 ZMK



3) The Second Prize: three persons will be awarded 2,000 ZMK each



4) The Third Prize: five persons will be awarded 1,500 ZMK each



NOTE: The Winners will further be awarded with a digital CERTIFICATE to mark the creativity.



NOTE: Chila from Zambia will be the coordinator of distribution of the prizes and once all videos are submitted by October 30, 2021, and the evaluation works are done, and a final list of winners is released, the prizes will be distributed as planned accordingly. Please, dear participants, with the extension of the competition period, for those that didn't submit, do your best to submit to enable us finalise this competition for onwards issuance of the prize-cash.

With the theme of “The Most Beautiful Stories of China-Zambia Friendship”, the Video
Competition is kicked off!

Call for works before 19th September 2021.

We are looking for stories about the friendship between the two peoples and cooperation
and exchanges between the two countries from the perspectives of Zambian young people.
And demonstrate the changes in personal lives and social development brought by China- Zambia cultural and economic exchanges and cooperation.

I. Content of works
The works may reflect the friendship between the two peoples and cooperation and exchanges between the two countries from the perspectives of Zambian young people, and demonstrate the changes in personal lives and social development brought by China-Zambia cultural and economic exchanges and cooperation.

II. Requirements for works
The length of the short videos should be less than three minutes, with a minimum of one minute. The resolution should not
be lower than 1280 × 720 and the format
should be MOV or MP4. It is highly recommended that the video be recorded in landscape mode. Please make sure the videos are recorded in English with accurate English subtitles.

III. Registration Process

CHINESE Ambassador to Zambia Li Jie congratulated President-Elect Hakainde Hichilema on his election as 7th Republican President of Zambia.

The Chinese side will work with Zambia's new government to lift bilateral cooperation in various fields to a new level, benefiting the two peoples preferably.
