Today our team for baseball 5 participated in the teulings youth sports challenge at Olympic Youth Development Center.

The first ever annual “Sisterly Battle” it was Christ the Redeemer School against Our Lady School which lived up to its expectation as a high-stake local derby took place on Friday 20th February, 2026. In a display of grit and sportsmanship, our athletes secured a hard-fought victory with a final score of 428 points against Our Lady's School who managed to secure 384 points. The meet was characterized by record-breaking performances in the sprints and a dominant showing from our relay teams.

Our team set the tone early in the 100m and 200m dashes.Our very own Kabwe Lilian,Kambole pateince,Timothy took first in the 100m individual races, maintaining a flawless rhythm despite having a slippery ground.
Middle
The 400m race was the most tactical event of the day. Our runners utilized a “pack strategy” to box out Our Ladys numerical advantage. Since Christ the Redeemer had no team under lower section which lead to 2nd and 3rd position.

While the rivalry remained intense, the meet concluded with the traditional “presentation of medals,” where both teams applauded each other’s efforts. Our victory was built on our depth in the relays and our ability to pick up points in secondary positions.

“The difference today wasn’t just the talent at the top of the podium; it was the athletes who fought for 4th and 5th place. Every point counted.”

We wrap up the year 2025 with the end of year party. We celebrated our hardworking and dedicated members of staff in style. May the good Lord always be your guide and light. Enjoy the festival👏
