Lusaka West School participates in the "Share Jesus Boldly Bible Bee Competition.",

18th and 20th March 2026, Lusaka Zambia.

Our students have successfully progressed to the next round after a thrilling first round encounter where pupils displayed passion, boldness, and a genuine hunger for the Word.

Out of 20 participating schools, 10 have now advanced to the semi-finals, and Lusaka West School is proud to be among the schools that qualified. A heartfelt thank you goes to Phoenix Pre, Primary, and Secondary School for graciously hosting the opening rounds of the competition.

This is more than just a competition. It is a movement a mission to grow Bible literacy among young people and raise a generation that not only knows the Word, but lives it and shares it boldly in their everyday lives.

Focus | Educational Tour – Kafue Gorge Power Station, 19th March 2026

Yesterday, our students embarked on an educational visit to Kafue Gorge Power Station, gaining firsthand insight into the generation of electricity through hydroelectric power. The trip provided a unique opportunity for students to see how water from the Kafue River is harnessed to turn turbines, which in turn produce electricity for the nation.

During the tour, students observed key equipment and processes involved in power generation, bridging the gap between classroom theory and real world applications. The experience not only enhanced their understanding of hydroelectric energy but also raised awareness about how electricity is produced and supplied across Zambia.

This visit was both informative and inspiring, encouraging students to appreciate the importance of sustainable energy and its role in national development.
