OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED!ππ½
On Tuesday, 7th July 2026, The Power of United Languages (Second Edition) was officially launched at Mulungushi International Conference Centre, Lusaka.
This moment has been years in the making, and I am still taking it all in. I began this conversation and journey to help my country be more united than ever before in 2018. To reach this far is by Godβs grace, and Iβm very hopeful that the message will reach evey Zambian who needs to hear the message in the book.
The book was declared officially launched by Dr. Rita Sianga, standing in on behalf of our Guest of Honour, Rev. Dr. Sylvia Mukuka, whose foreword you will find on the very first pages of this book.
Seven professional journalists, one from each of Zambia's seven major language communities, took the floor and spoke with passion, knowledge, and love about the beauty of their tribe and language. They demonstrated exactly what this book is about: that our differences are not a problem to be managed but a gift to be celebrated.
And then the musicππ½ππ΅ The legendary uncle Davies Mulaya and the sensational Wezi graced us with performances that moved every heart in the room. Their music did not just entertain but preached and united all of us.
Acentric also gave us a powerful message through poetry. There was fire on the stage but thank God it didnβt burn the booksπ
To everyone who came, who prayed, who travelled, and who supported from a distance, thank you so muchππΌ. You are the reason this book exists.
