SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, INFORMATION AND TECHNOLOGY (BIT) WINS THE CAVENDISH 2026 INTERFACULTY DEBATE!

In the just ended Interfaculty debate competition, the 2025 champions defended the crown after beating the School of Medicine in the Finals. In the first session, BIT faced the School of Law and the School of Medicine faced the School of Arts, Education and Social Sciences.

Schools of BIT and Medicine qualified to the finals where BIT emerged as a winner of the competition.

we wish to congratulate Mr Dexter Shakupwanya on emerging as the overall best speaker of this year's Interfaculty debate.
we as well congratulate Miss Amina Shaibu on coming as the second best speaker.

Dear Colleagues 🚨,

The Debate society executive We wish to inform you of recent changes within the Cavendish University Zambia Debate Society leadership.

Following a vacancy and subsequent internal review, Mr. Taonga Ceaser Banda has been appointed as the new Secretary General, replacing Mr. Allan Chigede, whose term has ended due to misconduct in line with constitutional provisions. Additionally, Ms. Albertina Ndatinda has been appointed as the Chief Researcher of the Society.

We urge all members to extend their full support to the new appointees as we continue to uphold the mission and integrity of our Society.
