PALABANA UNIVERSITY REOPENS APPLICATIONS FOR SELF SPONSORED STUDENTS
FOR 2026 / 2027 ACADEMIC YEAR: Extending the Opportunity for all.

Palabana University has reopened applications for Self-Sponsored Students in the following disciplines under the following modes of study:
• Full-Time Study
• Open, Distance and e-Learning (ODeL)

Suitably qualified applicants are invited to apply for admission into the following programmes:
•Bachelor of Animal Science
•Bachelor of Aquaculture and Fisheries Sciences
•Bachelor of Agricultural Science with Education
•Bachelor of Diary Science
•Bachelor of Agricultural Economics and Agri-Business
•Bachelor of Agronomy and Land Management
•Bachelor of Climate Smart Agriculture
•Bachelor of Wildlife and Conservation Management

Minimum Entry Requirements:
• Five (5) credits or better at Grade 12 (or equivalent),
including:English ,Mathematics and Science.

21st August 2026

NOTICE TO ALL STUDENTS

Following a Senate meeting held on 16th July 2026, changes have been made to the university calendar.

The opening date for first year and returning students for the 2026 academic year is now 16th August 2026.

Please note that returning students who are registered voters from Palabana can report on 12th August
2026. Further, all first -year students and other returning students who are not registered voters inPalabana will only be allowed on campus on Sunday 16th August 2026 when the university opens.

Please be guided accordingly.
