With respect, I COMPLETELY DISAGREE with some endorsement.
Unionism is not about noise, aggression and being stubborn. Unionism is about RESULTS. Chalimbana doesn't need a president who just shouts "but what about the students" in boardrooms and delivers nothing. We need a true LEADER who is respected by both students and management.
You say Chibala is fearless and vocal β but vocal is NOT equal to effective. We have seen this type of leadership before, all noise during elections then they disappear into the grass and only come out when trips are on. That's not Ubuteko, that's personal branding.
And you say He is the calm that controls the fire β bane, Chalimbana already tried that fire + calm combination and it FAILED. The Uchaa Bonse Twabanabo administration is proof that wrong combination leads to a dysfunctional union. One too aggressive to negotiate, one too soft to lead. We don't need another experiment.
This is why ZL IS THE TRUE LEADER.
ZL has what Chalimbana desperately needs RIGHT NOW:
- Courage to speak AND wisdom to listen
- Intelligence to make decisions that affect everyone
- Energy to pursue issues beyond the initial conversation
- Independence β not controlled by puppet masters
ZL doesn't just occupy office wanting to be called "my leader, my leader" and responding "Naichefye" while it's business as usual. ZL listens, observes, thinks, and DELIVERS. ZL is the balance of fire and calm in ONE person.
We don't want a union that students only remember during elections. We want a union that students can bet their hearts on.
Our choice is clear: ZL FOR UNION PRESIDENT. The true leader.
