OFFICIAL INVITATION & WELCOMING CEREMONY

We are delighted to officially announce that this sunday, the Africa Women Commissioners Forum will hold a special welcoming ceremony for our newly appointed Women Commissioner for Africa together with newly appointed Women Commissioners from additional African countries joining our continental leadership platform.

This important occasion marks another powerful step toward strengthening women’s representation, unity, leadership, and collaboration across Africa.

We would also like to clarify that the appointment of new commissioners does not replace the current Women Commissioners. All existing Women Commissioners continue serving in their leadership roles, while the new appointments aim to expand representation to countries that previously had no Women Commissioners within the Forum.

This ceremony will also serve as a moment of connection, collaboration, and renewed commitment toward empowering women and advancing impactful initiatives across Africa.

We warmly invite:
• Women leaders
• Youth leaders
• Women advocates
• Gender equality champions
• African women organizations
• Students and young women leaders
• Community representatives
• Partners and stakeholders across Africa

to join us for this special occasion.

Together, we rise to build a stronger, united, and empowered Africa for women and girls.
