MY STORY- BECOMING A SINGLE MOM AT 23
7 years ago, at the age of 23 I had my twin girls and became a single mother. I was in medical school at the time looking at a very scary and very uncertain future.

I had always been a star student, top of my class, so sure I was meant for greatness. Suddenly everyone was disappointed in me, but not nearly as disappointed as I was in myself. The months and years that followed were by far the toughest of my life.

At the time, it felt like I had strayed so far from what I thought my life was supposed to be. In hindsight, I see that everything happened exactly as it was meant to.

Before you decide that a mistake has completely taken you off your path to success, please remember:
💥Nothing you do will keep away what God has for you.
💥When the calling over your life is great, Not even you can stop you.

7 years later, I celebrate multiple academic qualifications to my name, and a career I am proud of. Most of all, I celebrate my greatest accomplishment- my amazing children who are adored the world over. Fun fact- This week we celebrated going viral on Instagram yet again, with our latest trending video getting now close to 3 million views in the last 2 weeks.

What if the setback was the set up? What if the challenge was the catalyst? What if the darkness was the only way to see the light? 💥
