NATANIA CHAMA our Grade 9 student scooped two medals in the U16 Girls category.

Italian School of Lusaka continues to groom top young athletes.In March 2026 Italian School student Kira Habazoka was awarded the Zambia junior Sports person of the year.Latest news from Mauritius the young Zambian track and field athlete Michael Miti who is also Italian School of Lusaka student recently burst onto the athletics scene, making waves in youth high jump and multiple jumping events. He has consistently recorded impressive leaps and represents an exciting prospect for the future of Zambian field athletics. Miti scooped a bronze medal during the Zone IV being held in Mauritius.The Italian School family celebrates this great archivement.Well done Michael.

Today, our school proudly joined the global Italian community in commemorating Festa della Repubblica โ Italyโs Independence celebrations. This special day honors the birth of the Italian Republic and the values of freedom, democracy, and unity.
Our students and staff came together in vibrant displays of culture, history, and pride. From flag-raising and music to classroom reflections on Italyโs journey, the celebration highlighted the strong ties between our school and Italian heritage.

This week, our amazing Year 7 students stepped into the silent world of mime, proving you donโt need words to tell a great story! ๐ญโจ From invisible walls to hilarious imaginary adventures, creativity was on full display all week long.
๐คซ Fun Fact: Mime dates all the way back to Ancient Greece and Rome, where performers entertained crowds using only movement and facial expressions. no speaking allowed!
